HENVI (Helsinki University Centre for Environment) organises the monthly Seminar Series Current Trends in Environmental Research. The theme of the Seminar Series for the spring 2010 will be Environment and Development.
Topics of this seminar are:
- Management of water resources in the Mekong river (Marko Keskinen, Aalto University)
- Problems for sustainable management of tropical peatlands: case study of Indonesia (Harri Vasander, Department of Forest Sciences)
Students can gain one credit by participating in the HENVI Seminar Series and writing summaries of the presentations. Read more: www.helsinki.fi/henvi
The seminar is open and free to all, and no prior registration is needed.
