Our Internet pages present our own and affiliated organisations' work. Numerous hyperlinks quickly connect you to the original information sources all over the world. Old issues of our magazine Kumppani and the range of material in the KEPA library can also be studied on our Internet site.

Library

The KEPA library is a specialized library concerned mainly with the field of development. It contains books, journals and videos intended for all users with an interest in developing countries, global problems, the environment and nongovernmental organisations. It also has a collection of fiction.

The library is constantly growing. The number of volumes now exceeds 13000 and there are over 400 videos. The main language is English, with some literature in Spanish and Portuguese. The library receives around 150 Finnish and international journals on regular subscription.

The library's online catalogue is on our web site. Persons resident outside Helsinki can make interlibrary loan requests through their local libraries, the loan period being one month, and the library is open to all.

KEPA publishes 2-4 moderately-priced books each year. Books from other publishers can be ordered and purchased from our office.

Reports

Pamphlets and reports deemed useful from the perspective of our work are published as a basis for broader discussion. They are free-of-charge. See Raportit page, and the listing below.
